AS A CURIOSITY

Three seniors assaulted argentinian casino
8th of August 2011 three elderly men broke-in to one of the casinos in Argentina. In order to get what they wanted they dropped themselves down on the ropes. Men  robbed $240 000, however they did not managed to get away far because one of the thieves was casino’s habitue and was recognized by witnesses when he was waiting for his associates on the parking lot. Men were sentenced for 15 years jail term for their unsuccessful holdup.

Latin American Poker Tour
Since 2008 poker players from South America meet for poker tournaments organized as Latin American Poker Tour in Latin American countries. In Argentina the tournament was held twice, in April 2009 in Mar del Plata and in September 2010 in Rosario.
